I came in late today for my 8am class. I was in a hurry that I forgot about my pen so I ended up entering classes without anything to write. When the teacher announced a surprised quiz, I thought I was doomed for eternity! But luckily my seatmate handed me her spare pen. She told me how she was observing me and how I reacted when our teacher announced the quiz.
After the quiz and after managing to answer my teacher’s questions, I noticed that the pen she lent me was one of those promotional pens from the store. Still I am thankful of her pen because I did not fail the quiz and I was able to take down notes that day. After the class hour, I hurried to the nearby school supply store to buy a new pen since I thought that mine was already gone for good. When I got home to my dismay, I saw my pen lying on the floor. I must have dropped when I left my room. Anyway, at least I have two pens now.
