The last time I was confined in a hospital bed was two years ago due to my severe headache which was later on diagnosed as a complication of my sinuses. I was living far from my family so my housemates took care of me. The billing were of course my family’s and the hospital was looking for an insurance card to ensure that I am able to pay my upcoming bills. I was familiar with Medicare supplement insurance types before when I was young since mom was fond of getting us insured. But, my medications were covered by the benefits my mom had due to her work. I was confined for two whole months lying in bed with no energy to even open my eyes or raise my arms. I lost 10 kilograms in weight at that time but today, I seem to have gained them all back!
