There are eight of us living together in a house that we are renting. Five of us are crazed of a LAN game called DoTA and would often spend three hours in the internet café that beside the house that we are renting. Today one of my housemate was very bored that she asked us to tutor her how to play the game. We spent almost the whole afternoon teaching her the basic things she should learn about the game and some techniques. She is now able to learn how to control a hero but she is still noisy and shouting whenever an enemy is approaching. But overall, I can say that she can play DoTA now and we have a new player so can play a three on three game.

Ber months signal the start of the holiday season, Christmas. You can already feel the cool breeze of the wind and some parts of the world might already experience snow. Giving christmas photo cards as gifts is as popular as it is for a very long time now. Many a few people take personal pictures of themselves and send the photos to their loved ones who are not living with them. A cliche as it may seem about gift giving, really, it is the thought, and the memories that were shared that really matters. So this holiday season, if you’re looking for simple gifts you can treasure, start practicing your Christmas poses.
Almost three weeks to go and the semester is about to end. I wonder how will I be able to spend my two weeks vacation and make the best out of it. Most children would prefer to go to downtown Disney because I myself when I was a child, I wished to visit the place. I would still love to go there maybe some time when I am able to. Right now, I am thinking of maybe spending my break at my hometown and of course, do some activities that I should be doing for the organization. I have exam tomorrow so I better get going and study.
Drinking has never been apart for me. I’m not alcoholic. What I liked about drinking beer is that I can enjoy small talks and even serious talks with my friends. It makes me feel more open and more comfortable talking about almost anything. The memoried that will be shared during a beer drinking session is priceless and always a good thing to look back to. Moments as such are always a good thing to treasure and that’s why I love to drink, not by myself but with the peope whom I love.
We visited one of my aunt’s farms in their region yesterday. They own more than one farm and we had the chance to visit the biggest one they have yesterday. We spent our whole day there walking in their field and picking up fruits from their trees. While we were walking along their pomelo trees, I noticed that there were breeches lying on the ground so I asked my cousin who was accompanying us what was it for. He told us that there used to be a horse in their farm but when they had to leave for abroad, they had to sell it since they cannot find someone to take care of it. I was excited upon hearing the first part of the story but felt sad towards its end. I would have had the chance of riding a horse that time but there was no more horse. So we proceeded to the farm house where there was a large pool and we enjoyed ourselves till sunset. I wish to visit there again, maybe next week.
I’ve been thinking about a gift that would be best to give for my friend who is coming from Japan. I was thinking of giving her a native product but she spent her childhood here and went there to study. So, maybe flowers would do but I was thinking of giving her something form a sports gifts shop so that we can go out and play. So, if I were to give a lady a sports good, what would it be? A ball? A gadget? How about a sports clothes? I really don’t know. Maybe I’ll just give her some dumbbells or a ball perhaps so that we can play at the beach or spend some time a the gym. I miss her so much since I haven’t seen her for a couple of years now. I am excited to see her soon.
Let me tell you a story about a dream I had this morning. So my dream was set in a city and there were many people there that I don’t personally know. In my dream, I was a traveler who happen to visit dowtown because I was attending a seminar. The downtown San Diego hotel that we were checked in was cool and very accomodating. So after we checked in, my dream suddenly shifted to a beach scene and I was dressed in summer wear. It was a very fast shift and I found myself in the middle of a beach volley court when the ball struck my face. It felt so real and when I opened my eyes, when Iwoke up, I found myself being pounded by my friend trying to wake me up. I forgot that I asked her to wake me up because I had an appointment.
This afternoon, my friend and I were walking along the street towards our next class when a cool car passed in front of us. We were almost hit but we managed to escape from the incident. The man apologized about what happened and he was kind enough to offer us a ride towards our destination. We agreed and so we ride his car. He had a very cool car and it seemed new. Later, when he noticed my amazement, he began to tell his story about how did he got his car. My friend, luckily, was knowledgeable of Ferrari parts and they started talking to each other until we were dropped off to our destination. It was a nice encounter since we were able to make new friends and that was a good thing.
It has been a custom in our family to have a general cleaning every year during the end of the year. This is to welcome the new year with a fresh and cleaner view around all around the house. As I was cleaning one of our rooms where most of the unused and unusable things were kept, I noticed a device which I remember I used to love. I remember how I used it so much until it reached its final. The tape drives there were still working but the whole device was not too pleasing to the eyes anymore so this might have become the reason why the family discarded it. Anyway, So I thought if I have it fixed or redesign or redecorated, maybe I can still use it in my room since no one would bother looking at it inside my room. I’m planning to bring it to the repair shop maybe tomorrow or in a couple of days from now. I hope the repairman can have it fixed. I think these stuff are expensive by now.
There are a lot of new movies on cinemas today. I hope I can spare some time watching them. A single film would do as long as I get to view it in a very comfortable theater seating with someone. Well I’m not really into the cinemas but having to watch a movie there with someone special is a great feeling though. Sometimes it feels comfortable watching film the way cinemas and theaters set things up. From the music, effects and even the seating arrangement make sure that everybody enjoys the film.
What interested me with the modern movies today is the idea and thought that the effects they use are way too cool and more spectacular than those that the old movies use. Well, this can be attributed to the modern technology we have unlike before. Nevertheless, the quality just gets even better and you can’t help but say that a movie with spectacular effects is always worth every penny you pay just to get to see in in the big screen.
