Marry Your Princess

December 6th, 2011 No Comments

I’ve been playing a song by a popular artist the whole day. It talks about a guy telling her girlfriend’s dad that he will be marrying her. It has a very sweet message and strong pledges. The guy promises that he will make his daughter his queen and will be the most beautiful bride on the day that she’ll walk the aisle. I don’t know why I kept playing and listening to it, it’s just that I love how the guy makes his promises to the girl’s dad. I think this will make a good bridal entourage. So for all those who are going to wed in the coming days or months, you might want to consider this song into your list. It’s Marry Your Daughter by Brian McKnight.

Music’s Legacy

I always loved music. It keeps me sane in times of solitude. It stirs up my imagination as I put into mental images the lyrics sang by the singer. I also appreciated instrumental music and what I love most, are those people who plays legendary music. I had a friend who has been into music too since childhood. He played the guitar and plays it very well. On his 12th birthday, his father gave him an idea on which gift he will be receiving. His father showed him a catalog of ovation guitars from which he choose the one he liked most. On the day of his birthday, his choice became the guitar he is playing today. He has become adept at strumming those guitar string that everyone wooed as soon as he starts playing. Music is something that will never be ruined by time. It may take another form or genre but still, music will be a part of our life, our history, and a nation’s legacy.

Available Medical Jobs

The large number of fresh graduates coming from the medical and life sciences domain has flooded statistics with added unemployed rate. This has led to the surplus of highly qualified health workers to stay at home or practice their profession for free. Some would even try to apply for jobs whose job descriptions are far from the discipline they studied for. What they do not realize yet is that there are several Medical & Clinical Laboratory Technician Jobs available for all of them. Maybe they just don’t know yet where to look for it. If only they were all vigilant looking for the right jobs for them, then maybe they would have been working now using the techniques their disciplines taught them.

My Goddaughter

A week ago, my godchild celebrated her 2nd birthday and I wasn’t there to celebrate it with her due to distance. She was living thirteen hours bus ride away from me and I don’t have the time to travel there due to my job. This was the second time too that I failed to give her a present so maybe this coming Christmas, I’ll prepare a gift basket for her and I’m going to fill it with so much items that hopefully would compensate my gift debts. I wonder how is she doing now, I think she has grown so much adorable and beautiful. Her mother, my friend, tells me that my goddaughter can now speak well and can keep up with a conversation. Now, I suddenly missed her.

Liberating Night

After a 5-day “vacation” to attend training of highland vegetable production and pest and disease management, I finally managed to arrive home. After that exhausting yet very fun trip, I learned so much about the topic and some experience about life. One of my colleagues and I went to an entertainment center to enjoy ourselves and it was a very liberating experience for both of us. Although we had limited time, it was the experience we valued most. It was our first time and it was a bang! Maybe we will have another chance to do it again and we both hope that by that next time, we will fully enjoy ourselves and maybe, cross the line just a little bit.

Goodbye Party

After a five-day training with highland vegetable production and disease management, we will be finally leaving the area tomorrow but before that, we will enjoy ourselves. My colleague got so lucky because she got invited to a dinner date. She bought eyelash growth products during our first day and she noticed that it has worked its magic. I think she likes her date too. I just wish she’ll have a good time because I know I and my other colleagues will surely enjoy this night. Farewell cold place but allow us to party first.

Chat Time: Vehicles

November 20th, 2011 No Comments

Almost all of my office mates occupying a regular position drive their company cars to work and to places they need to go to for work. Whenever they talk about their vehicles, I find myself quiet because I don’t know a thing or two about rides. We have a car too but it’s issued to my mother from the company she works for. Although I was taught the basics of driving, I still am less confident sitting behind the steering wheel. So, back to my office mates chatting, one of them told a story about an event he witnessed while he was driving to his site. He saw a couple of trailer hitches right across the street and he thought that it was appropriate. It gives convenience to all people concerned especially when it comes to traffic management. He also described the vehicle who experienced it and I saw how amazed he was with the event happening right before her eyes. Her eyes gleamed as he told his story.

Safety At All Times

Living with employed people is a whole lot of fun especially if all of you are on the same line of work. you get to exchange ideas and even challenge every idea to come up with a better, infallible one. If we are not together watching tv, you will likely find us sitting in front of our laptops pressing indefinitely those keypads just to finish a report. But, you never see our cords lying around or scattered on the floor since we always use a cord cover to put things in order and very much secure. This is also to avoid accidents such as trip-offs, imagine if one would trip-off the floor then that would drag the laptop and basically our work.

Reconnected Once Again

After being disconnected from the internet for almost a month, I can’t contain myself in web solitude so I purchased my plug it modem. Using my hard earned cash, I availed of a network provider’s unlimited service for a fair price. I am actually using the modem to post this article. So far there has been no problems that I encountered with their product. But as may people would think, maybe this is because it’s just the beginning. Nevertheless, I strongly believe that their service is every penny’s worth.

Organized Habit

To keep myself on track with the things I am doing, the things I have done, and that things that I ought to do, I always update my Pegboard. I keep myself updated by looking at it every now and then, posting mini post-its and note cards, and even writing on it. It is so helpful in organizing my day, my thoughts, and even aids me in solving complex problems just by allowing me see the bigger picture, to see things that I failed too when I do not write things down. It has helped me a lot that I actually developed a habit of looking at it first thing when I get to office, after lunch, and before leaving for home.
